Our brief

The Highways Agency is an Executive Agency of the Department for Transport (DfT), and is responsible for operating, maintaining and improving the strategic road network in England on behalf of the Secretary of State for Transport.

This project was for the design, manufacture and installation of traffic outstations for the  Highways Agency at eight different locations in England. Extraspace Solutions provided a total of 675 square metres of steel framed modular buildings.

This was a full turnkey project, including fit out and all civil works. The buildings included heating and cooling systems, toilet and welfare facilities, office and first aid rooms, IT installations and mains connections.

Civil works included all sub structures, external lighting, landscaping, new roads, paths and car parks.
